  2. Well, breeder ol pal, I 'gotta chime in here. I wouldn't wish the past year and half you've had on anyone. It musta sucked royale. But, here the way I see it:

When I saw you at the Pile-Up and Fools, you had nothing but good tidings in your heart, kind things (generally speaking) to say, and beer on your breath (but you kiss so perty I didn't mind). Your lovely wife was with you and you were surrounded by hundreds of like minded derelicts, listening to The Hot Rod Hucksters. Good times were had by all.

You're alive, living in America and I suspect, usually sleeping indoors. Your kids still call you Dad and you got bros who, for some reason, love you. A man can do a whole lot worse than that. I know I have, but today is another day and I've learned the best way to handle it for me is be thankful for what I got, and look forward to what I can earn. At the end of each day, let it go. I did what I did and hopefully it was my best. If it wasn't all I can do is try to do better tomorrow.

Breeder, if you think an 8 and a 5 year olds are difficult, just wait until they reach 16 and 13! Your children are Gods payback for all the problems you caused your parents, just get ready. :D Keep this in mind and it will help you keep it. Been there, done that. My kids are 29 and 26, they still drive me nuts sometimes, but my mom and dad tell me I still drive them nuts.:D

LOL! I've got 2-year-old twins... girls at that!

The other day while ordering at a Wendy's drive-thru they got hollered at for ripping apart and eating a book, then after a heated, mid-song dissertation about what creatures actually inhabit Old McDonald's farm, they began flogging each other in the face with half-naked Barbies. I broke it up, but damn, dude...

At least yours are different ages and MIGHT be able to look after each other. With one kid, when they run away at the mall, the get scared when they figure out they're alone and come back. With more than one of different ages, the older one's sense prevails and they might convince the younger one(s) to turn around. When you have twins, there's a constant peer group - they walk hand-in-hand away, oblivious to the rest of the World. The only reason we found 'em is because they crawled into some rental strollers, had strapped themselves in, and couldn't get out!
