Actually those two colors were very common in the 50's and 60's . They will go together just fine . Any color will go with black !
You choose the colors you want . It's your car so do what makes you happy ! Enjoy the car and drive it allot !

In the mid-80s, I owned a '62 Impala SS that came from factory with black paint and blue interior. It looked great on that car!

 

Check out my Corvair. Black with a teal/blue interior. The pics don't do it justice, it is very striking when you see it together.

in the early 70s i had a 62 falcon,factory black with blue int.when i did the interior i did it back in blue.i liked it.i have a 56 premiere being repainted,told the painter i might go blue inside,he said that won't look good.so i guess it is just a matter of choice.good luck. [oh i'm going red in the 56] jack

 

Sharp combo, do it!
Add a little matching blue accent or something to the exterior as well.

 

My 1960 Lincoln was black with a blue interior.. never noticed or thought of it as an odd or clashing combo..
