Black or gray? Which sealer under silver base?

I'm going to shoot some panels this weekend. How much difference do you think a metallic silver basecoat will look if I shoot over black vs. gray? How about over white sealer?

 

Use black that way you can ***ure yourself of full coverage sometimes with white or gray and silver its hard too see you got it all!-Good luck,Paul

 

I'd go for the grey, it will take less coats. black will show more streaks and take way more material.

 

Gray, I just painted silver over black, would not do it again.

 

im new to painting last 3 years why do people say its better to use differnt color primers i did a couple panels and you cant tell the difference in color
