Yeah, yeah, I know. But it is a good show and I've talked some vendors into bringing stuff for me to save on shipping which will cover my admission. Always some very good cars and some that aren't my style.

    Anyone going on Saturday?

The long range weather forecast says the temps should be much milder this year, high 70s-low 80s. Last year was brutal. There are always plenty of great cars for everyone's taste. Go and enjoy.:)

  11. leaving Wed. sometime not sure ..between 10 am and 5 pm ..... be there Wed.Thur. Fri. Sat....bookin Sunday morning around 9.... 10...... or when ever......

  12. I'll be running back and forth from Md. I go on Thursday afternoon to the host hotel, then back up Friday to do some swap meetn', then the wife and I will go back up for the weekend. It's still the biggest pre 49 show around (for now) and once you wade through the masses, there are quite a few interesting rods there.

The long range forecast is for high 70's with partly cloudy skies-except for Saturday (of course) when a "few showers" are predicted. Of course, since the weather folks can't accurately predict the weather 12 hours ahead,it's not tome to worry yet. There will either be no rain in sight, or it will be pouring buckets.

One year I carried a brand new Model A cowl band in the rain the longest possible route from the dealer back to my car. Too big to carry one handed so no umbrella. We all were rather soaked. The weather forecast that day was for all sun.

I'll be there Saturday (and also Friday if I can get the day off work.)
Last year I saw some very cool HAMB-friendly cars at York.
It ain't the Jalopy Showdown but there's still enough there to make it worthwhile.

I'm local so i'll be driving around each day alittle bit, i don't ever enter....
actually i don't got on the fairgrounds (Expo center) most years.

I go to the Holiday Inn friday night, it's the Pre-Registration. It's like a informal car show, you can park at the West Manchester Mall and walk about 100 yard to holiday inn if it's parking lots full.....
then saturday/sunday drive between york and carlise, or just park on highway 30 or 74 and you'll have a good seat.

fyi, the Motor Mendors car club is have think a Shrewsbury (markets) in PA. just north of Maryland border tomorrow night from 4-9, but it always start much earlier. I've seem 500-700 cars show up at this "Cruise-In" before. here's alink........ http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/motormenders/index1.html

  20. We're leaving at noon Weds, set up Thursday in the Toyota Building then in the booth or running Safety Inspection the rest of the weekend. Stop by and say Hi.

    Dennis

PS The big party at the headquarters hotel is Thursday night.

I'll go up Thursday to the hotel and pick up my registration then be back Friday. Looks like there might be some rain, but the temp will be way down.

I'm headed to the York NSRA show Friday afternoon and Saturday. Any HAMBers going to be there? I'm hoping to see more flatheads than the very few I saw last year.

Heading there on Saturday with a few of the club guys, (Aces & Eights CC). If there's a meet on Saturday post up and let me know. Looks like this is the last year of York as we know it so I have to show up one last time. Too bad my new, (old)roadster is still in titling and I'm a civilian this year.

Will be there all three days, rain or shine. Friday looks like rain in the AM clearing in the PM. High Friday of only 65 degrees, good day to get a lot of outside stuff done. Saturday and sunday looks good.

I only have to travel 20 miles, no hotel or food, just gas to get there and back.:D:cool:

Maybe last year for some pre-49's, but next year will possibly bring out the 50's and 60's customs. Don't think many tuner people will be there, not much for them to do or buy plus many of them are opposed to spending money just to hang.
