Doing it again. Felt the need for some running and turn lights on the front of FF deuce roadster I'm starting. Nothing is easy, the BLC fog light has a small rubber U shaped rubber gasket sealer around the reflector. Without this the bulb will get wet and break. Has anyone on here used these lights? I also have the same lights on my deuce pickup and they look great and work even better. HELP. Thanks

I've had lots of BLC fog lights, can't remember the rubber you speak of. Sealed beam? old style bulb? A pic would be good

Single element bulb. We change the pigtail to a dual element pigtail and a Harley Davidson dual element buld snaps right in. I have them on my daily driver deuce pickup as both running lights and turn signals. This rubber seals the reflector to the lens when you tighten down the rim.

Gary, I had the BLC fog lights on my 32 pickup and I too converted them to use a dual element bulbs to have running lights and turn signals, I also don't remember the rubber gasket but I have another set of lights at home and honestly don't know if they are BLC but I will look when I get home. Some body makes a plastic protective flexible hole cover to keep wires from being chaffed. It U shaped with pie cuts so it flexes. You can cover the edge of different size holes. Draw back might be it’s a bit stiff.

I found my other set of BLC fog lights in a box under the work bench, there is no rubber seal, not saying there wasn't one originally, just isn't one now. HRP

The seal/gasket goes around the outer edge of the reflector and appears to br a large O ring in a channel.

If there's a channel, a large O ring should work?
