I was trying to pay a compliment to someone not trying to kiss ass Bob has inspired me as well as Cole and Jimmy even Drew and Littleman...I see them all as my friends and I can give a fuck what any Potsies say. Carl his car is cool but I've seen a million Black and Red Roadsters,,,and thats the diffrence...I'm not talking about fabricaton skills I'm talking about overall design. Theres a handful of builders that create there own style that stands out...Thats where I make my comparison. After this car is done we will see Bob on another level... Whatever.

You know, I think Carl's roadster is great, I was proud as hell for him when I saw the OSR article..... and even prouder to see that nummnuts spelled most of the words right. I think that car deserves all the credit it gets, its a really nice car. I hope that OSR continues to feature cars like that instead of farm trucks, rat rods, and greaseriffic bullshit. Maybe they are finally on the right track. Good job fellas. That being said, I'm so fucking tired of being under this magnifying glass. I'm just a guitar player who builds Hot rods with my dad. I'm honered to be mentioned in the same sentence as Jimmy White and Cole Foster..... those guys are true heros of mine, so are Drew and Tuck. I have a long way to go to be worthy of those comparisons, but I am working on it. One weld at a time. I'm just doing things the best I can, thats all I can do.... but I'm so sick of all these fucking egos and jealousy that revolve around Hot Rods. It really creeps me out. I just want to have fun. I'm not competetive at all, its just not my nature.... I don't think I'm better than anyone else, but if it makes you guys feel better to think that about me.... go ahead. Feel free to think I hate you, and that your car sucks, or that I'm on my "cooler than you" stool... or that I'm some sort of ellitest...... Its just not true, but be my guest. Unhealthy competition is a pain in the ass..............kiddy stuff.........Living all the way over here in the great land of Oz, I have been exposed to Bobs cars and music, as well as many others whom I also dig, in the form of magazines, dvds etc..locally and in the U.S. . Now he is online here too.....geee, fuck me....do I like the guy? well yes.... can I ask him shit about his ride and get answeres? well yes.......do I want to fuck him? no......is he god dressed as satan?......no.........does he like old cars with history and doesnt mind saying it?...fuck yes.....................I play guitar in a band, and own a rod and I love old stuff that has a history and talk about rods,guitars, music..all the time too.........is there anyone else around sayin similar shit on dvds, cds, internet etc...............of course........so why do certain people stand out? because others step back. thats why....They withdraw through lack of time or fear of fuckers saying shit about them, they arent up front and honest in what they wana say.....So Bob and these guys arent really anything different, sure they are talented artists, but we all share the same interest....I suppose if i had the time, Id get involved much much more............and what if my old man was into rods too.....fuck, Id be outa control even more with this disease....be thankful he shares his passion with you dick and try steppin forward and telling us what instrument you play and what your buildin and what your old man does and so on. I Like Bob, but I am really impressed by his work...I have been watching it on here for some time and there is serious amounts of skill here. I am generally easy to track down...you should come by the shop the day before (or after) it is only about a mile from the show. or just look for the big,ugly tattooed guy and you will have found either me or Big Rick (who is much bigger, but not as ugly)
