Don't be surprised if klazurfer and myself suggest we have a pow wow with some cool brown malt liquid.

    Palle,
And you made my day too!!!! Boones, I got these back on Monday afternoon, I just wish that the shipper could've waited a few. Palle is really excited Aren't ya???? I emailed Barry re intakes, so a few are still @ the foundy & I offered up my services if he needed them-very nice guy & I'd love to help him out anyway that I can. So Flat Cad people, there are some speed parts available for this cool tank engine, so alternatives do exist. btw the heads are not over polished nor is the intake, this guy actually does them in the "old world way" which I prefer.

  10. You guys really know how to make it hard for a guy to resist!

If those intakes were a little cheaper (hell,....a LOT cheaper), I'd love to spring for one....and the heads too, of course, Kev!

Sorry Palle but there have been some change of plans.
Klaz and myself own this frame together and have decided not to sell it.
Actually we have a complete rolling original 32 chassie with renovated brakes, rearend etc.
It will probably be a mid 30's style hot rod when our roadsters is finished.
    A mutual fun project.

Will most likely be banger powered...(Have to keep Kevin busy making heads you know :) )........and we would like to find a coupe body for it, 30 - 32.
Nice to have a car to drive on the rainy days. :D

    Ain't this the greatest hobby?

We can do some more uppdated roadster mock up pics in the near future I guess.

I have set up my chassie for a regular banjo. Stock 32 spring on lowered crossmember. I'm using an early 32 with 3:54 internals.

I have choosen to build my car like a dualpurpose (street and lakes driven) car of 1948. Those rides where rarely equiped with a quickchange.
I'm probably more than normaly focused on details like that. I want my roadster to be an average car of the time. A ride that very likely could have been build during the postwar years with the stuff readily available at the time.

If I ever choose to change to a quickie it will definately be a Cyclone. I love the looks it has.

I was just curious. You can never get the whole story from just a picture....

They all look so awesome. That Burrell is sexxxxxyyyyy!
I take is you got it all polished in Cali. I'm going that route going forward.
As far as the Quicky goes, man I need a second job trying to keep up with you Palle!! LOL

Kevin awesome work, I'm hoping and planning on mine to be driven to Roundup this spring. So fingers crossed. And yes I'm thinking that I really need to save a bunch for a QC from you. Also I need to get a couple more shirts from you. After the fuelpump incident going to the last Roundup and then a recent parking lot repair I'm down to no Cyclone shirts. Howzabout you send me those two girls in the pic above and I'll take the shirts off them?

    Wyatt,
They're over age so you are ok there! As far as taking the shirts off of them. that's something The Cyclone Girls Crystal & Carrie would have to decide. They are cuties though!
As for a quickie, did you mean with them:confused: =Lol:D!!! Nah, I know what you mean, so I'll set one aside with your name on it as soon as you decide to commit;). So you did like the polishing:confused:. I hope Palle does, he is an even more patient man than you=Lol:D As for the shirts, you said you are a L right . To everybody else, I have to say thanks for the support! It means alot to me to have you dig the stuff that Cook created & me bring back to the Hot Rod world.

I have to say again that things probably would be different if Cook advertised these heads! Edmunds made 2 versions of it and Cook 1 and our patterns are in great shape, just very time consuming to hand gate, vent & cast which results in higher costs to us then passed on to customers.

I'm not getting rich on this deal, just barely survivng as each & everyone of you guys as Hot Rodders are. Whetever we get goes right back in the parts patterns some outside machining if need be.

So again thanx, cuz if wasn't for you, I probably wouldn't have the drive to keep going.:D
