Block hugger headers with angle plugs or AC, are there any?

Been looking at block hugging headers but all I find is once not working with angled plugs. It also looks like they never will work with stock 1966 Chevelle SBC air compressor brackets.

My question is if there is any short block hugging header than is going more down before crossing over to the collector. Sorry don't really know how to describe it.. but I hope you understand.

Give sanderson headers a call or email them in South San Francisco. They will most likely lead you to a solution. Perhaps even build you a set.

Thanks all of you.. The latter on from Truck Rat will probably fit, bit small although --- 1 5/8 and 3 would probably be the best for a 421.. Sanderson is very interesting.. will definitly give them a buzz..

    Cheers dyna

Another vote for Sandersen, they make up to 1 7/8" tubes. I went with 1 5/8" for my '40 Chevy, interesting that they don't use gaskets. They reccommend a bead of high temp black silicon to cure overnight them torque to spec.

  8. So do you actually have a 66 Chevelle? If so why not use these from Patriot H8021-1. They fit with AC and angle plug heads

They also make at least 4 Block Huggers that fit with angle plug heads; H8019, H8037, H8052 and H8065
