Hi guys, I have been going through alot of old pics and text of mine and decided to do a blog on my 29 Closed Cab Model A Pick Up. It starts with the usual introductory and inspirations etc and over the next few days I will be posting about the build with pics etc. Check it out: http://www.nz-hotrod.com/HOT-ROD-BLOGS.html I plan to add other subjects including NZ events and dragracing as well as my trips to the USA. Hope you enjoy and I welcome your feedback. Greg
Just breezed through it as I gotta get to work... pretty neat. What happened to the 23 project? Diggin it. I'm going to build an addition of the back of my house where I can build something small in it, bikes, belly tank, T's. Something more comfortable then the dirty garage...
I can't wait. That is what I'm shooting for.I really liked it in the black with red wires. Can't wait for the specs.
I am working on it. Should have more over the next few days. Right on deadline with teh NZ Hot Rod Magazine at the moment
O.K. I can't stand it anymore! I really like this truck. How can I get a copy of the "three week build?" I hate to bring up an old thread, but this is something I like, and want to try and build, with few exceptions.Thanks....
Hi guys, Thought you maybe interested in the Project 29 T-Shirt that is now available thru the New Zealand Hot Rod Magazine. http://www.nzhotrodmag.co.nz/product.php?id=242 Best regards, Greg Stokes
C'mon, a man that spent a large portion of his working life in Taumaranui, ain't afraid of anything in his rear view mirror!
I think Grabel may be right. I recall a post asking if he was serious or something like that?? I can't imagine that is a major insult or anything. It must have been a glich or something. Who knows this T shirt idea might fly, he could do a range of "Son's of Bundy" like Boyd's boys....
Yes there was a post that went along the lines of "you must be kidding" I spoke with Marty today and we have cleared some air. I have got these shirts done as a gift to thank all the people that have helped with the car because I appreciate it. I upped the order to get some to sell - if they dont then that's all fine. The real purpose of the shirts were to thank a bunch of people that helped with the car. Marty pointed out some reasons that people maybe disgruntled with certain things and the point I made that if I have done anything to personally insult or upset anyone I want to deal direct with them. So if anyone out there has a problem directly with me then email me or call me. As for anyone that has seen too much of Project 29 - I am done - its parked up. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
