blower intake

    looking for a crager blower intake for a y block. To my knowledge this is the only company that made an intake for the y block. Any info would really help.

    Well, I think that the Latham super charger co. made them as well. I don't see to many around though.
     
  3. There were two kits from Cragar, a 3-71 & a 4-71. I was under the impression that both the 3-71 & 4-71 would use the same intake, but I have not seen a 3-71 in person to measure it, and I've found two different measurements from written sources. At any rate, the 4-71 intakes are very rare and go for stupid money.

    It is quite possible to fab a blower intake up from a conventional 9425-B cast intake...or I suppose that you could start with the Blue Thunder intake, which is a better manifold anyway, for more $$$, naturally.
