    1. I had not seen your FED thread before Carl, I went through the whole thing this morning. Very cool dragster and a great sounding flatty. Thanks for the advice, no 1:1, check.

    Billy study Joe's book on Blown Flatheads a lot of great info espically blower size and capacity's I use a Weiand 142 on the truck but remember its half the CI displacement of the 471 so you can spin it faster...........

    That book is the first thing I bought after finding my block, Carl. Read it chapter and verse and then made my machinist read it as well. Since you seem to know your stuff, sending you a conversation on oil filtration.
