Hey guys, I have a completely stock 331 chrysler hemi. I want to run a blower on this thing because i think it would just be wicked to run on the street. Anyone know what i need to do to this thing to run a blower? And what size would be right 6/71 or 8/71?

...completely stock + blower = broken 331...can you afford to do it right?

***uming that you get lucky on all of the parts buys you will need about 8K to make a reliable package if you want boost over 4lbs.....

I've always been told to keep the compression around 8 1/2 to 1 to keep it streetable and reliable and no more than 9 1/2 to1 so i hope this helps!

331 is 7 to 1 compression..... crank and rods are fine the stock pistons will be the weak link.... hone it ring it and put a blower on it and keep the boost around 2-3 psi and have a good time with a cheap motor......
