Blue Devils Car Club - Vinton, IA?

Someone contacted me about the Blue Devils from Vinton, IA. They were looking for anyone who may have been a member or who knows someone that was a member. He provided this photo for our website .....

I was born in Vinton,but I have never heard of this club. Before my time,I guess.

I've lived in Vinton all my life, and I've never heard of this club. Brief research I've done on the net leads me to believe that plaque is for an obscure semi-pro baseball team, not a car club, but I could be wrong.

Well all I can tell you is that the original plaque was made by Speed Gems back in the 1950/60's and that I have the pattern to make more.

BTW, I also have original patterns for a Road Drifters of Vinton Iowa and a Road Barons of Vinton with no state (as well as a Charioteers, Vinton Ohio and Drifters, Vinton LA)

Came across this old thread in a google search on the Blue Devils. My father is from Vinton, IA and has an old business card that was from the Blue Devils. If you have picture of the club plaque, it'd be real neat to show him. The image from the thread is gone.
