I've seen the blacks/reds/orange color threads, so how bout this?! I have been searching to get a paint code for a blue green color. The one I like... I think?.. is 41 or 42 ford nile blue green, but I cant find a code? Anyone got any ideas or cool pics of thier blue/green colors to post? Thanks for any help and cool pics ya got! Gary Heres a couple I found that I like and I think are that color...
anybody know what color is on the street rodder road tour 33 roadster? Nobodys gotta blue green car? lol -Gary
Those pics all look like a shade of light green to me. Maybe my monitor is off. anyways, have you tried tcpglobal site for the color chip or at least the formula of that 42 color? Some car brands they have detailed info, even rare cars, but a few are not detailed, like big early 30s cadillacs. If you don't know about that site, I can try to look for the chip there.
I don't really like that color, so thats how I painted my A bone! And yes, those are all ELEVEN of our kids! Hence the name, daddio211!
will the real daddio color please step forward all 4 pics of the A sedan look different. PIC 3 is a real nice shade well, actually I like pic #1 but it looks like at dusk and it's not correct?
Hey F&J, I will look up on tcp's site. I have ordered paint from them before, I did not know they had that info!? Thanks! Holy crap Daddio211!!! Thats alotta kids! lol, I like the a-bone!! -Gary
Well I got the code! 41-42-46 ford Niles Blue Green, DAL 40026 DQE Thats very handy to know, I had no idea that they had paint chips/codes that far back! Thanks! I like the color on yours too Striper! -Gary
Glad you found your color Gary. The color on my car is really deceiving, but every monitor is different. Pic 2 (at least on my monitor) is dead on the color when in the shade. The hood in pic 4 is dead on when in the sunlight. It's a custom mix, no metallic, all PPG stuff. And all those little fingers came in handy when it was time to sand louvers on the hood sides... of which I don't even run!
