Just planning next summers road trips. Any body been to this show? would you go back, is there any Hotels nearby, should you prerej, and when are the 2009 dates. thanks
are you talking about the show in sunnyside? if so then your best bet would be to stay in price, utah plenty of hotels there. they tend to have the show on the same weekend as the greek festival so try to make reservations early. and if your looking for big air ports the only one is in salt lake. and then it's like 3 to 4 hour drive. i don't know any of the small air ports.
There are flights to Moab from Denver, about 2 hr drive from moab to sunnyside. Alot of guys camped at the show this year. Price would definatly be the closest bigger town. The car show was part of the Sunnyside city festival, so theres a bunch of food vendors and other stuff going on.
I just heard about this show, i guess a few of the guys are planning on getting a convoy of era cars to make the drive from Denver. I gotta see if i can get the Edsel running well enough to make the 6 hour drive (according to mapquest) over the great divide... if my car makes it or not I'll probably end up there one way or another.
The family and i have been the last two years running its a blast. last year we got the chance to talk with Bo at his shop and see some of his projects. he really puts on a good show. i think it's July 10 11 12th this year.
