Boat guys will like this!

Discussion in 'The Antiquated' started by Bill's Auto Works, May 3, 2023.

  1. Hello Everyone,

I am NOT a boat transporter, but having said that some of the smaller antique speed boats will fit in my trailer & since I try my best to help customers safely get their new toys....Sometimes it is not a car:D

This is a 1940 Cris Craft 17ft speed boat that is said to be only 1 of 23 made with the KB engine. Unfortunately the engine is long gone, replaced with a SBC.

I transported this from Maryland out to Denver Colorado. The trailer it was on needed much help! I took some time once I got there to show the new owner what needed to be fixed & how a welder should perform the repairs. Before I even got back to Ohio on that trip, he had it all welded up & road worthy.

    God Bless
    Bill

Ya know, with just a little modification, those windshield stanchions would look right at home on my 29 roadster ;)
