Found some great boat fabric. Urethane type with heat sealed pleat look. They are about two inches wide with ony a small fraction of a seal. I seem to remember that it was already foam backed but I cant quite remember. Has anyone used this. I wonder if it breathes like one would need in a car as opposed to water and air tight fabric that it may be for boat use. I am thinking about the easy way out for pleats in my model A. I live in TEXAS and if it is hot and wont breath it will be a sweat fest. Anyone with any experience?

The main difference in the vinyl and the backing for boats is that it is UV treated, and the backing is water resistant. It should breath the same as automotive vinyls. What brand of vinyl is it that you found?

  4. We used to have that stuff here local to me in Poole , Dorset , England.
Sunseeker Powerboats are built here and thats exactly what they used.
When they switched to Leather only interiors , a lot of this stuff turned up in the fabric stores.
We cant get it any more and I would still use it if I could...can you get a price for me and I will look into costs of mailing it here ?
Also colour choice would be cool
    Thankyou
