    Hi All,
Interesting that the back ground rythum riffs/ cord progression thats played on "walk don't run" was the second thing/song that I learned to play after "wish you were here" whilst working in a gold mine in Papua New Guinea. I never knew just where it came from. Sad way to find out. If you can hear me Mr. Bogle, thanks for the music!

Saw them open for Roy Orbison at Club Casino, Hampton Beach, NH in '85 or '86. They were phenomenal! Another rock pioneer headed for the pearly gates. Man, they've got a hell of a band!

Thought you all might be interested, this made national news in Japan. They were/are huge here and have played in Japan for years. I've been trying to buy up some of their vintage Japanese releases while I'm still here. Anyway, I thought that was cool. I doubt it made news anywhere like that in the states, save for the Seattle area.

A sad day for us older guys who grew up on their music.

As far as "car" music it may not be car music per say but anyone who cruised the Renton loop in the mid/late 60's knows it was fine cruising music.

    RIP Bob
