Bob Ellison, long time competitor in the A/GS ranks and the Boston Strangler alcohol funny from the 70's -80's passed Friday. Bob was recovering from injuries sustained while competing at the Indy Good Guys event two weeks ago driving the recently restored Ellison & McGarvey 33 Willys. While receovering slowly from those injuries, Bob died from complications brought on as a result of a massive stroke he suffered yesterday. Bob will be missed in the Racing World ... RIP
More terrible news...This is the friend that Safarinut was asking about earlier in the week. Ray, my thoughts and prayers are with you, as well.
Again his family and loved ones will be in my prayers as well.........RIP!!! This is a end to a bad week I hope
I read the post earlier this week about his accident. Every hobby has it,s down side . What a shame that something like this can happen in only 1/4 mile or 10 or so seconds.May he Rest In Peace.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to you to Ray. It's really tough to lose a friend, the really good ones are rare in this day and age. Frank
Sad news to be sure. But his death was a result of doing something he loved doing obviously, can't ask for more than that. To his family and all those that new him I am so sorry for your lose. Geoff
