    Hey Everyone!,
Our own Broiler Gal Adriene and Ace Lens Man John are holding a book signing for their Great New Book "Southern California Eats II" . If you ck it out online you'll find that #1 had the 1941 built Bun n Burger basedin Alhambra on the cover-(my main b-fast spot). It also had some great pics of Harvey's-Johnie's Broiler and what happened to it.
We'll it's now on the cover of SCE-II as Bob's Big Boy Broiler and has our own HAMB familys cars in it as well. So come on by grab a book and an autograph and wish em a Merry X-Mas and Happy New Year as well. Without their exhaustive efforts many of these historically rich cruise spots wouldn't be photographed for posterity.

    When Sat Dec 18,2010 4:00 to 7:00pm
Where 7447 Firestone Bl. Downey CA.

Hpe to see you there! ;).

Hey Kevin, I'm thinking about making some coffee cups with some of my hot rod black & white art like the broiler cup. Can you direct me to who does those cups, they look great,
and they already know how to print my stuff right.

I hope things are hoppin' down at the broiler, I'll have to come down soon. I'm gettin' mighty hungry for a Big Boy. Happy Holidays.

  20. gonna leave soon.....but NOT in my daily (wiper motor is angry).

I had such a surreal feeling sitting in the rebuilt Broiler at Christmastime and signing our books. One woman strolled over and then pointed to the cover of the book and said, "Hey! That's this place!" :D Thanks for comin' out, you guys--it sure made for a fun evening hanging out with friends.

We've got a holiday planned for next year in California, going to Bakersfield for the Nostalgia Drags and Bob's Big Boy is definately on the list of must sees.
It's great to see such an iconic piece of American history being preserved
