I was surprised to see hot rods at the GCdE, I did see Wayne Carini walking around with a microphone, leading a crowd of people and talking about different cars. He had his Moal, hot rod in one of those blow up, portable garage displays. That Deuce Hi-Boy drove up from Long Island, not trailered.
Was the '32 black with a 1956 California plate? If so, I saw it in Ridgefield following a Ferrari. Bob
What a nice show! right on the water. if your car gets accepted you are treated to free admission for you a passenger and your car. you get free breakfast, lunch, a boat tour of the harbor. I goody bag filled with stuff, a show poster coffee mug. they also have signs made up for each car on the show field with info about the cars.
Congratulations @tb33anda3rd...Hotrod looks fantastic as always...you fellas got the goodtimes look going real well there......thanks @fras2 for sharing this fine event and the upscale contenders...
It's good to see fellow "HAMBERS "with some beautiful real deal hot rods at the show for that matter just to start seeing them be accept is just as cool. The drive up from Long Island was no problem. Taking the wife in roadster on the New York city roads and traffic is another story.
