Eastwood has good stuff too. Pricey, but good stuff. I love their dollies...I had mine within 4 days of ordering on-line.
You can find some bargains on ebay...I'd go more for the old name brand stuff though. The Chinese dollies and hammers are cast potmetal cheese junk..... as far as what you need, I get most of mine done with a small pick hammer and one or two dollies...the rest get used occasionally but they are nice to have when you need them. ebay listings Brian
The bare essentials are...home made. I found a nice chunk of steel on the ground one day, curved it with a grinder, polished it, been a good dolly for twenty years. One of my hammers is a one inch ball bearing welded to a piece of bar stock, made a wooden handle. Over the years I have made many for specialized shapes, like fixing stainless trim, have one to fit the curve of Triumph fenders. Made my pick hammer easily, just lok at one. All free.
