A friend of mine has plans for an attachement that fits onto an engine hoist (cherry picker) that turns two engine hoists into a body rotisserie.

Does anyone know of anyone that sells these as attachements already made?

Looking at the design of rotisseries you can see how easy this would be to make. I just don't want to slow things down at this point. If I could get a set cheap I'd rather go in that direction.

I'd be interested in a set of the plans, don't know of anyone who sells ready made attachment.

This site lists 3 different DIY links to plans:

I'm not that impressed with either three though. I think you could make something more along the lines of that part of the semi-pro built units from roto2000 and a coulple others. Do a search for rotisseries and you'll see the top few places in the first page or so of links. I think it's roto that sells a pretty cool body lift that connects to an engine hoist. But it runs $250 plus shipping.

I could think of better systems to add mount brackets to an engine hoist for rotisserie purposes. If you shifted the hydraulic mount straight up to the lift arm instead of out to an angle, then welded up a right angle square tube and round tube, then a separte "T" that fit into the round tube, that hooked up to the bumper mounts you'd have it. You'd want to offset the "T" mount and the tube so that the center of attachement on the body was at the center of the front and back of the body. Otherwise you risk it being unbalanced and tipping over at 3 and 9 oclock.

I just wish I could buy this.
