I swapped 37 Coupe body to sedan frame , frame was the same except for a dimple on the rt rear for the gas filler . I know it’s not Ford , but OEM early stuff was simple to repair , as stated the fire wall location can be determined with simple measurements . I suspect , this is going to be different than a stock Henry body , the rest should be 8th grader stuff .
If it was original body and frame it would be a fairly easy swap. Using original bodies will leave the firewall in place so no fussing with the steering electrical brakes dash panel . It sound like a fun project but maybe a bit more time into it depending on whats on the firewall area and how brakes steering and electric was run. I am sure the bolt hole aren’t going to line up and with a boxed frame you may need to drill new mounts .
About 1961 my buddy Ed bought a running 34 Ford Fordor for about $200. A few weeks later he bought a 34 5-Window Coupe body. We set about exchanging them when Ed's dad told us it was impossible – the Fordor was a lot bigger than the Coupe (not).
Only thing I would double check is your insurance. For my agreed value policy, I had to submit photos of the car, so he may have to update the photos for insurance purposes.... ***uming the ***le is generic enough also (2 door is a good one because it covers many body styles)...
