I have looked everywhere, and googled every way I can think with no luck. I am trying to find out if the bolt pattern on my '51 Dodge Wayfarer stock wheels are the same bolt pattern as Ford. I want to buy Spider caps and am trying to find out.

    Thanks for the info!

Measure from the outside of the stud to the center of the stud directly across from it. If its 4 and 1/2 its Ford 4 and 3/4 Chevy.

Many Chrysler products use the same as Ford at $1/2". A tire shop should be able to tell you if yours are 41/2. There is a handy gauge that can be used to detyermine your bolt patteren size. The inexpensive ones are made of plastic: you might find one at better parts houses.

    If it's original, it's 4 1/2" bolt circle............

Mopars used the 4 1/2" pattern from the '30's on, except for Imperials and '83-up trucks. Same as '49-up Fords, but the alignment dowel has to go if you want to use Ford wheels. Or drill out the threads and put studs in the hubs.
