Can anyone recommend a good and affordable bonded title service for Texas?

As is not uncommon, I purchased my project with just a bill of sale. I checked with my local tax office and DMV and the VIN doesn't show up in their records.

Anyone care to share their good or bad experiences with these services?

Best advice I can give you , is to talk to your insurance agent. Almost any insurance co.
should be able to handle the bond.

If your county will do a title hearing I would go that route. It takes a little longer but is cheaper since you are not paying for a bond or anything else. I have done it 2 times here in FT Worth and had good luck.

Anyway, didnt really answer your question but just another way to skin a cat.

My Insurance Co gave me one a few weeks ago on a titeless car I am working on. Cost me $225, then the DOT sent me the paper work to go to our court house to put the car in my name .It was apiece of cake. But all States handle this differently. Good Luck!
