I would have used Tar and Gravel with some nice copper flashing! ( and maybe a central roof drain. )

This was in the tulip panel of my 28 model A. If you look close it looks like it was done in layers A ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1405553118.242269.jpg

  3. This is kind of embarrasing, but when I was in high school in the '50's we used to buy junky cars to drive. Many had rusted out rocker panels. The fix was to cover the whole rocker with masking tape then cut holes thru the floor and fill the entire rocker with plaster of paris. Let it dry, pull the tape, sand, prime, done. Beautiful. Oh yeah, we used the old pump up bug sprayers to shoot the primer.

I'm scared of what ill find in my a. I've all ready started looking for new fenders because of the bondo abuse and there not even really rusty the p.o. just decided to fill all the seams with it. My roof is filled by way of aluminum sheet pop riveted to the car and then roofing tar or spray on Bedliner or something over it that is now coming off in chunks. Now the 1/4 diamond plate aluminum floors that are glued in with construction adhesive might just have to stay because I'd how the hell to get them out without hurting the subframe. Some people just shouldn't work on cars. Best I've seen was a one year old truck that had a dent about 3 inches deep in the corner of the bed from backing a trailer too sharp. It was laser strait and beautifully painted for a couple months and then started to crack I was there when he pulled it out in one big chunk. They didn't even bother to sand the paint off before laying on the bondo three inches thick. You could hold the chunk in and couldn't even see where it was cracked. Must have been a different painter then bodyworker because it looked beautiful for a while but damn you didn't even have to remove anything to smack then dent out from the back at least a little bit.

I wonder why this car did not tip over when cornering. It´s kinda top heavy with the much bondo in the roof. If I were you I´d check the frame for lead counterweights, hahahaha
