    I want to remove my bonnet sides and run a bonnet top only on my 34 coupe and wanted to collaborate with the innovators and creative hot rodders out there to see and learn from your inventions on how you secure the stock top to your ride!

    I took this picture at the LARS, last year. Really like the look of the bonnet straps, not to mention the rest of the roadster.

    thanks Cerberus i also like the look of the bonnet strap but it would be tricky to mount to the 34 inner guard?

    Hey Tom;
    I think a lot depends on the style of your car. Not sure if the leather bonnet hold down strap would look right on your Aussie coupe.
    Sometimes less is more. Especially if you have alot going on visually with your flathead.

  5. Used two bungy cords to hold the top hood halves on the coupe. Worked just fine. Hooked into the hood side hinge holes and ran them under the radiator support rods. I leave the hood sides on now to hide the TPI.
