Well.. it's decided, we'll be at Bonneville this year....

Did you find the salt required the use of any different filters to normal shooting? I was thinking of bringing a circular polarizer and a ND8 along...

 

I almost always had a circular polarizer attached to my lens. I would think an ND8 would only be necessary if you wanted to shoot at a shallow depth of field.

I did use a gradual ND filter on some shots and a gradual colored filter on others to enhance the sky and it's colors.

By the way, I LOVE your drag racing photos! Some of the best stop action I have seen. I'm going to pick your brain at Bonneville and get some tips from you.
