Bonneville 2011 Roll Call

I'm caravanning in with Rocky (towing my '36 Altered PU, which is now his) and Johnson & Johnson (Nexxussian) from Alaska, with their straight 6 Berkeley.

Hope to see you guys there - especially YOU, T-Bag! I'll be busy as ever (crewing for Johnsons and shooting 12 features), but will be sure to make time to jangle a bit this year. Probably sleeping at the bend, under a truck or something.

I will be running the ERT again this year (roadsters not done) i hope I dont see any of you. But have a fun and safe speedweek and good luck. i will be in the uhaul truck with the scta trailer behind it all week

 

I'll be there with my Bike again this year. Look for the old man at the canopy with the Potter's Clay and H.A.M.B. OFC (Old Farts Club) banners. We will have a chair and cold drinks, come sit a spell.

 

I cant wait. Its going to be an exciting year.

I will be leaving the Bay Area Thursday morning, heading to Austin, NV for the now (in)famous Alviso Roadster's pre-Bonneville barbeque Thursday night. Then Friday morning on to Bonneville to hook up with the Nebulas Therum team. We'll try to get Michelle over 200MPH this year. Faye will be pushing the 6060 car as fast as she can.
If you see the pretty girl on the back of a '31 Phaeton, stop by & say hello.

I'm will be there in the roadster! First time, and I can't wait. I fully intend to be haunted by Salt Fever the rest of my life. Driving down from WA with about 10 friends.

 

Me and the misses will be there. Camping at the bend as usual.

Got a salt report today! this was as of friday the 24 this month. Its a go! you can drive the entire course right now and no standing water! YEE HA! Cant wait.

 

Theres somewhere else at Bonneville besides impound?? : - )

I got the report from 4 port riley here on the hamb. He is the treasurer for the USFRA. He has been doing this stuff for 40 years. he was out friday delivering a generator and some parts and drove out to check the salt. Scta is going out in 2 weeks to set up the course.

I posted it on landracing too.

 

We will be going in the ICT with my grandson, two sleeping bags, and a bunch of water.






Will leave out of Sac on Sat morning at 3 am or there about's see ya Tim on sat.......................

No, not really...other than Impound the second time...then teh place to be is in our pits with a Whiskey in your hand!

Great to hear the salt is drying up, was a hair worried there this last month. it's a long way from Norway to Texas to Utah just to see water...I can do that here..
