I don't know if it's realistic for me to enter a car in the 2004 speed week, but I plan on spending some serious time dreaming about it. Does anyone have any favorite Bonneville websites, including any technical help? About the only one I've found is landracing.com, but I'm sure there are more out there on specific entrants. I'd appreciate anyone's input. --Matt
Go to the SCTA-BNI web site. You can order a rule book that should have most of your answers. Good Luck! Don.
Nice pic, Roadstar. I bet you've got some nice memories, too. Thanks, Don. I ordered a rulebook about two weeks ago but I haven't received it yet.
Didn't I read in HRM a couple of months back about a 120mph club that they have for street cars. Might be the ticket for a reasonable dollar effort at just getting on the salt. Hmmmm, Ive had the P***at over 120, Bonnie look out!
Dreaming and Schemeing eh? Obviously another victim of the virus, you're hooked! I've put pictures of the build up of our car online at http://www.fsra.org/n49 Look down the right hand column for links to groups of pictures from each stage of our build. The rule book is a must and is different everytime you read it. After a few years you can even find your way around inside it easily. If you've got questions the best thing you can do is join the email list at Landracing.com The list is sort of a "land speed hamb" set up by Keith Turk to learn LSR. It obviously works because Keith joine the 2 club this year, and damn near hit 250 in his Berkley. mike
Cool, guys. That's kind of stuff I'm looking for. Unkl, for some reason I didn't search the entire Landracing website. I didn't even find the messages, much less the e-mail list. I'm hooked up now. Mike, You've got a great website. I'm going to spend some more time perusing it this weekend. And Dreamweaver, thanks for the alternatives.
