I'm planning on a taking a 34 ford coupe out to salt flats sometime in life and I was wandering about the suspsension.
In my experience with drag racing I see a lot of 4-links and I am wandering if a 4-link would be the best to use even though the car would not be under hard acceleration.

    Hey Johnny:

First off you are asking this question in the wrong forum. It should be asked in the main forum, this is for questions about the mechanics of the board.

Second: Read a lot of the posts before ya just jump in and ask questions. The guy's like to read an intro. Tell us who you are, where you are, why you like this traditional*****. Most importantly show us a pic of your B'ville car. Any one who is going to the Salt will get a warm welcome with the proper intro and pics of a B'ville car.

Read a couple of the intros and the responses to get the hang of it.

I've been to the Salt twice...'79 and '03...seems like a lot of guys run solid rear suspension depending on the class...I recommend EVERYONE get there at least once...it's the rodder's/racer's/gearheads mecca. [IMG]
