Like every one has said, getting into the reccord book aint going to be easy, or cheap but there is nothing wrong with just doing it for the pure joy of going fast or personal best. In 2010 I plan on having my car at World of Speed, that looks to me like a good place to learn the ropes. SCTAs rule book is hard to interpit for a back yard builder so I go to speed week and ask questions and look at examples of what I'm going to tackle next.

I love that overhead shot. It just goes on forever.

 

if you want to run its easy, like was said earlier in the thread. If you want to run fast (200) its gonna cost you some dough. Check out the SCTA website or www.landracing.com message board. Both will help out.

 

More people have climbed Mt. Everest than have a legit 200MPH Club membership.
It's not easy, but don't let that keep you from trying.
