    Hi Everyone
I have a question for those who use a supercharger on a flathead.
my configuration is a 2 Stromberg BIG 97, a GM 4-71 with a Munro intake manifold on top of a French 8BA flathead.
I usually set my boost pickup at the back of the intake manifold, that's what I did on my previous 32 Sedan and now on my 30 model A.
my problem, the signal I get from the pickup is not stable and while doing some digging I saw that the best location for the pickup location would be in the carburetor's plate.

what do you think and what is your setting?

If the boost gauge connection is above the blower, it will never get a boost signal, eh? :)

It needs to be in the manifold, below the blower.

  3. Are you sure your gauge is good?
