Hot Rods borg warner super t10 in 34 ford

has anyone put a super t10 (fine spline) trans with 48 flattie 276 ci . I have offy adapter, alum flywheel, etc. trans came out of 1976 trans am. goig in 1934 ford 2door. my concern is gear box ratios and shifter location. thank you for your ideas. It is a close ratio with a 2.43 1st gear. original rear end at this time, but plan to put in 35 rear with quick change. thanks for your help. rob drew

 

Had one in a 32. Shifter position was awkward. The quick change will help as you will need a low gear in the rear to make it driveable. I went to a T5 instead.

 

Where was the shifter and could that be modified
