just lower that*****er and drive it proud.... bring a crew along with you and remind everyone what 4 doors are good for (riding around with more than 2 people.)

    What he said!

It's a nice old car, very nice.
They were nice cars for families when new too.
That's what it is, a family car.
Lower it if five or six people don't bottom it out already.
If the hub caps are dented or missing put some Chrome wheels and baby moons, Supremes, or chrome wire wheels on it with a set of regular off the shelf radial skinny whites and drive it.

Please, no black primer, no red wheels, no WWW's.
    It's not Rockerbilly, it's a mid-size Buick sedan.
The neighbor across the street from me had a Buick Regal 4dr sedan with chrome wire wheels on it.
They were on it when he bought it new and he didn't even know they were aftermarket wheels because the dealer put them on before sale.
They made that car look real good.

I've got the******** years of those cars . . . a 1962. You've got a frame and more conventional stuff under there . . . always a better start for rodding something. I've got a deal with odd sized wheels, 4-lug, no parts availability . . . ain't it fun?

How about slam it - suicide the rear doors - low profile rims, maybe some knockoffs -*****/muppet fur or vinyl tuck and roll interior, dangly balls, tinted/etched windows ... that car would be so frickin cool.
If you put all that work into it, you probably wouldn't ever want to sell it, and if you did, the right customer would gladly pay more than a bone stock 4-door. Have fun and go crazy - probably a lot easier than modifying it into a 2-door, unless you've got the mad skillz.

get creative with the lines of the car...i shaved mine, flared the rockers ,split and frenched the bumpers, and pieced my airbag setup together when i could afford it ,and when i had all the pieces,we put them in.the work i farmed out was trades.

Man, that looks great...cruising vessel already. I'd go with the "40 years and a full car" lowering, slap some 7 inch chrome reverse and baby moons on the front, 8 inchers in the back...blackwall tires, dual exhaust for that V-6, and just drive her. Just about there already...the art is knowing when to stop changing things...

with big cars i think it's best to keep it simple and let the lines flow. i'd start with a drop and a shave - maybe ditch those caps for just the stock black steel. also, get the exhaust right - you need to hear this thing coming.

    to get you thinking...
