Ive been lurking on the site for a long time just reading all of the posts and finding out what you guys are all about. I love traditional hot rods. My friends call me The Moose. Im from Connecticut and now 63 and just retired after being a GM service and parts manager for most of my working life (prior to that spent some time in Viet man but thats another story. Ive been playing with cars since I was in my early teens. My first car was a 39 Chevy coupe that I bought form a neighbor for 125.00. I found a 53 Dodge 241 hemi for it and from then on I was hooked. I built a number of cars after that but life has its way of setting your priorities. Now that everyone is put through school and Im retired it gives me more time to reignite the old flame. My latest project has been a 1932 Chevy 5 window coupe that Ive owned since 1972. Just about ready to go and I cant wait. I really look forward to being a part of your group.
Have to know something about carpentry rebuilding them Old Chevy's. But it's a goody for sure. Welcome from Maryland!
