Bought a '54 got a few Questions?

I just bought a 54 bel air. New to older cars but have been working on customs for a while now. When looking at cars that are bagged some are laying rocker some are up a few inches off the ground when layed out. Will a mustang II and 4 link get me on the ground or do I need the z the frame? Who makes the best wiring system? Where can I look for parts aftermarket and stock? thanks for any replies

 

if you wanna lay rockers you gotta channel it. the frame sits lower than the body. and you gotta notch it
