This is how historical cars disappear.

  3. Maybe so, but that'd be IF nobody buys it in this case:

"The fate of the lil roadster? Well she'll be sold off or parted out if no takers."

  4. Thank you for buying that truck......I have been staring at it for weeks, now I can finally focus on the stack of projects I've already got. Glad its going to a good cause to.

I would be insterested in a few of the pieces if you get to parting it out. I've also been looking for an early flathead to swap into my A pickup.

See what you mean about the RPU but I think it's pretty cool. Know you just wanted the engine but that would make a very cool ride for someone. It's way better than I was picturing! OFDA ("Old Ford Detective Agency") strikes again!

Congrats! That doesn't look like a fad T or as 60's T bucket to me. More like a late 40's early 50's hot rod roadster pickup! Dont part it out!

  11. We were talking last night about when we thought it was built. Will the flathead running gear, banjo and brakes, along with the 42-48 dash I wondered if it was an early build. The tires/wheels throw it off, but the rest could be????

  12. Sounds like you need to come save it :D

Another great find! We all know you have some 16 inch wires with tires, do a quick swap on that T and it will take on a whole new look.

  16. I'll be listing it for sale in the next day or 2

  17. Great story ! great score... you sure have put some road miles on lately.. I always enjoy reading your posts. I guess I should go out and put my new battery in the F100, need to finish small small stuff on the 35. The "T" would be a neat little project for someone to put on the road, hope it doesn't get parted out. Hope to see you at Early Bird next month. Happy New Year !

  18. I have had a ton of PM's on it wanting it as a whole hotrod, so looks like it will probably go to a good home. It's neat, but I got too many irons in the fire :D

You bet I'll be at early bird, one of my favorites!!!

Well said. Sounds like someone needs to step up and buy it already! :D

  21. I hope somebody does buy what's left as a package and resurect it.
Congrats again on the flathead, and congrats to who ever gets the remains of it's donor.

As soon as I opened this thread, I thought of this car. Not the same car of course, but its close enough to be inspiring. Personally I LOVE the vintage trailer fenders on the back, they suit this thing to a "T".:D
