cool little car, I would guess it was a mid to late 50's build as well. I hope whoever gets it builds it like the pic falcon george posted!

I just caught up with this post today. Chris is my buddy but now even I am starting to hate him!;) That T is a *****ing '50s Hot Rod. All that car needs is a hood and a louvered belly pan. 16" discs and outside exausts. That's an early '50's build. Parting that car out will bring you bad Karma. That car IS a REAL traditional Hot Rod. They don't make those anymore.

My 8BA could use that little roadster as it's new home and be pretty happy.

Chris, I know exactly what you mean. Folks often tell me I'm a "LUCKY" so-and-so to get ahold of some of my stuff. I tell them I wasn't lucky, I was READY. Too many guys ***ume that anyone with cool stuff must be "made of money" as your detractor stated. You don't have to be made of it, you just have to know how to handle it. I have a fund for things like this, and it's sustained and replenished out of my budget. I'm not rich, just capable.

Nice buy on the bucket, I agree with most...sell it intact to someone that knows how to finish a hot rod and then drive it.

I'm an ex- E WA resident, I'll have to get up to Spokane and enjoy a cup of coffee with you while leaning on an engine stand.

Your right, you gotta be on the ball. I know guys who make 3X's what I make and have nothing to show for it. It's all how you spend it, and what you spend it on. But some people will never understand that.

  12. Hell Chris you are in cheap and I take charity. :D:D

I can't imagine that anyone would p*** up the bucket if you price it right. it would make any of us a neat little scoot around. Maybe even a fad street strip car. ;)

looks like you done good, probably got one of your grandaddy's engines it just doesn't get any better than that.
Hell I'd give a testicle for on of the Ol' Man's nail heads and I don't even like nail heads.

Don't know how deep you are in this but I'd say you done good my friend.

PS couldn't use your quote it put me over my image quan***y.

My Dad talked to my gramps about this...although grandpa does not remember this particular engine ( I didn't think he would), he did say that he would have built it as he was the only one who knew how to build those "old Junkers" back then!!! Everyone else was younger and didn't know anything about them!!

Chris, I am one of the ones that hope that your Grandpa did build that Flattie. Makes that motor special and perfect for your '34. Good ending with the gentleman who had to have it. Perfect ending to a great story.
