    Insulation under floor?
    Marcus...

  2. Nope, plywood sheeted with tin on the bottom, zero rot on the floor. This is basically a hard wall tent. Which is perfect, my wife and I were at a show 400 miles away a few weeks ago and after sleeping two nights in a tent it spurred me to get going on this. It will only get used behind the old cars or if my daughters want to use it. I have a 34’ fifth wheel we camp with.

Ok, that makes sense. Curiosity was getting the better of me. & the thought of insulation from the elements, was generated from long-past tenting experiences. When we used a larger camper-trailer, things got better. Abit crowded, but lots better. :) .
In any case, that is gonna be one nice mini-camper.

You have made great progress. It looks great so far. I built class c motor homes in the mid 90s for coachman. They used the cheapest crap possible.

  6. It’s really amazing this stuff holds together as long as it does!

I have all new wiring ran just meet to start putting siding back on then some paint.

  7. Forgot to take pictures and to lazy to walk back out tonight, the three people watching this will have to wait!

Got all the trim back on and putting windows and doors back in, ordered paint.

  8. IMG_5700.jpeg Sealer on it where the whites going. I’ll go back out in an hour and spray some white, the tin has some dents and is wavy in some spots but it’ll be shiny! Going to polish the door as well.

  9. Apparently I’m terrible at taking pictures, the white was done as per above, today I got the green on it, still have to polish the door and reinstall it.

    I’ll unmask it tomorrow

Welcome to the world of Classic travel Trailers. It’s a sick obsession. I’m sure you have already been there, but check the Tin Can Tourist Site. They park some good info over there.

  13. That is a pretty spectacular transformation, but that new colour is going to clash with that orange interior.

  14. That’s my wife’s problem! Haha! I wanted the paint to match my Fargo
