Congrats! Just wait, you'll have that garage filled in no time then you can start in on the wife for another garage. Trust me I grew up in that house. Dad's working on getting his 4th garage if Mom will cave. Enjoy it!!

that neighborhood must have been set up by a ford man. I thought you were kidding with the intersection.. looks like the whole nieghborhood is Ford, Lincoln and Mercury street names.

where is the Chevy neighborhood? maybe I'll get a place on the corner of Bel Air place and Fleetline Road.

My favorite town, big concrete yard, plenty of room and a house too. Great find and good luck! May the junk collecting begin.

Sorry to hear that, man... not much fun when a dream falls apart.

I just missed out on a great place cuz the guy at the bank was golfing. Smallish 3BR modular on 25 acres, 2 ponds, big barn and 3 oil wells on the prop w free gas to heat... was in bankruptcy, needed a new water well. I made an offer of $50k, just fishing, and they accepted it! In the process of my bank getting things in order, somebody made an offer of $51k and got things done quick. I went to check the place out... he's a vet, just came back from 6 years in Afghanistan; hard to get too upset about that, I guess.

Unless you left some details out that shouldn't have been. When your offer is accepted that's it unless you go over the time limit or there are contingencies.

Guess I should've stated that the bank guy went out of town on a golf trip... we had 48 hrs to post a deposit. He just completely dropped the ball... right on my toes.
