I´ve wanted a ´55 chevy since I can remember, and finally I have bought one.
It was late summer/early fall last year and I was just looking on craigslist for fun, then I saw a ad for this car and I fell in love!
A friend who has bought cars from USA on previous occasions helped make the deal, and fixed with the shipping to Sweden. Then I had to wait for a couple of months for the car to finally arrive.
First I have to get it registrated here in Sweden and when that is done I will make some changes to it to get the style I want.

Here it is in the snow waiting to come into it´s new garage, poor car that had to come from Texas to this cold snowy place.

    Thanks guys!
I made the burnout, thats the same day as we unloaded the container. It was my friend that helped me with everything that forced me to do it...
I´m going the gasser inspired way with it, but it will be street driven so I thought I would name it The Poser.
But when I looked over the car when I got it to my garage I saw that there is mounts for leaf springs welded to the frame.

NICE, I have always liked the 55. I had a 57 about 10 years ago and although I knew it was iconic and what everyone else likes ( my brother drooled all over it every time he came over ) I always wanted a 55 instead.

Very nice. Do you have any plans apart from what is on the floor?
