I just didn't want to sound like i was promoting the event. Thanks for posting flier. Not sure i could have posted it if i had wanted to.
I love that town. Always thought i wanted to move to Nashville. Not now. There is almost always some auto related going on in B.G. You going for work?
No, not for work - wife & I are both retired. We're moving because of the family, weather, taxes, politics and general cost of living in New York State, not necessesarily in that order. Don't get me wrong, western NYS is a beautiful place. It's just too bad it's in NYS. My daughter & her family (including a brand new great-grandson) live in Alvaton, KY., which is about 7-miles east of B.G. During many visits, my wife & I have come to love the area and the people. Proximity to Nashville (about 60-miles) is just a major plus, as Nashville is the only big city we've ever liked - great to visit, just too big to live there, at least for us. We're more "small town" people. It's a little daunting, having to move all my shop stuff and build a new shop down there at my age (72), but there's no way I can give up having a shop - might as well just die now !
If it ends in KY its got to be good. Green, treed, rolling hills and lots of car related activity not only in KY but TN, OH and IN all within easy driving distance. Gary
I couldn't agree more about Nashville as it is a great city and I love Bowling Green when I visit it for the Hot Rod Reunion.
