Does anyone know what happened to Boyd's 53 silver Stude ?

The car was built for Ed Burden of New York but I don't know what happened to it. The car took a long time to build and was in Boyds shop for a very long time. I haven't seen it since is was finished.

 

It was listed for sale on Barrett-Jackson.
