    Hello
I bracket race a 58 Olds with a 371 and have just found a 394 and a B&M for maybe next yr or the yr after $$$$$:(.
I am missing the 394 valve covers, oil flt adaptor, and maybe more when i go threw it all.
I would like to know the formula for bore and stroke a 394 to 482,do i chew the light aftermarket pistons by my teeth or can you buy these done already?
    What light rod?,does eagle make a rod like a 425 or 400 7 inch rod for a 394?
My B&M came with a chev ft. housing and small dia fluid coupling.
The olds frt house is on there now and a slant pan Olds fluid coupling.
The seller told me the vanes from both looked exactly the same when he swapped them.
I heard there is a bigger stall speed with the larger Olds coupling anyway?
But as per the B&M info i have read the Chev. coupling must be used?
    Niether were brazed.
But this is suppose to be a intro so...
    My 1/4 mile times with a 58 88 371 4 speed hydro. @4240 pds. 15.288@90mph.
    Offy 3x2 intake,homemade in chassis headers,mild trw hi pro. cam(only one i could find),31 spline 64 caddy 342:1 posi pumpkin in the 58 housing(axles cut),MSD.
I am gonna need some help this coming winter with.
Thanks for you all being here.
    Good luck and drive safe

  3. Thats really cool to see a Olds still tearing up the quarter mile. Welcome to the HAMB. You might want to ask your questions on the main forum so more people will see it. Good luck.
