I have a 1941 GMC Coe I am looking for power brake and power steering options for it. It still has the old drum brakes that do not work and has been converted to a C10 steering box but I need something with less throw. Only needs about a half a turn either direction from Lock to lock whereas the C10 steering box is two and a half turns lock the lock

  3. Building a go-cart? lol Have you thought about a rack and pinion? Changing steering arm length? I don't know of any steering box with 1/2 turn lock to lock.

I actually thought about building a hydraulic ram setup with an orbital valve. I looked into flipping the spindles from side to side so the tie rod was in front of the axle and building a cross steering setup like a jeep.

x2 for rack and pinion... and 1/2 a turn lock-to-lock seems a little nutty... Why?
