I was just wondering if anybody out there knows if I could put a 1968 Newport brake booster in my 1962 Newport..... The 62 are impossible to find thanks but I can find the ones that fit the 1968 all day long

The 68 uses a dual master and the 62 uses a single ? May not make any difference though.

My 62 has a dual master cylinder.... So I'm wondering if it was replaced at some point

Justin--Not sure what the outcome of your conversation was with Dewey, but if you have the original booster(even if you don't and can get one from Dewey without a core) why not just do that. He might be considered a bit expensive by some, but how much are you willing to screw around with this?
I had him do my NOS Nova booster(67) that needed a part replaced/they know what they are doing.
    Happy motoring
