I was wondering if you guys have a source for all 4 drums for a 50 Shoebox.I've seen the prices at Macs and was hoping somebody has a part # for NAPA or something, $100 each is steep.I'm trying to get the car on the road this summer before upgrading to discs.thanks

    Turn the old ones

  4. yes, turning the old ones would be great..if there's enough left to turn. after 59 years it's hard to imagine that they are not junk. i****ume rodknocker tried that first

o'reily'e/checker/kragen has rears listed as Bendix #140130..and $26.99 each! no listing for fronts, i****ume then that they are different

I just wanted to post this link after doing some research on rear drums for a stock rearend, here is a list of what other vehicles they came on, and the part numbers for most of the manufacturers.

About $60 from NAPA is the cheapest I found with a store close to me.Thanks for the help guys.

I don't know about a '50, but midfifty and dennis carpenter wanted 100 each for the drums on our '56. I found them on Rock Auto for 35ea.
