Technical Brake Drum Temperatures

Yeah, Benno..."Whatcha don't know can't hurtcha..."

 

I would race in the fire suit and a pair of cutoff shorts and maybe a t-shirt and of course socks and boots. I was just curious how hot the car gets inside. Back in the pits, ditch the soaked fire suit... keep an eye peeled for NASCAR officials and become one with the beer cooler. They would chase me out of the pits if I was wearing shorts.
